About Ross

Ross is one of the UK’s best-known outdoor photographers. A familiar name with readers of the UK photo press, Ross is a regular contributor to Amateur Photographer, NPhoto, and Outdoor Photography magazines. He is the author of several technique books, including Digital Macro and Close-up Photography and The Landscape Photography Workshop. 

Ross is a multi-award winner in Wildlife Photographer of the Year, The British Wildlife Photography Awards (BWPA), Landscape Photographer of the Year and International Garden Photographer of the Year. He is a Nikon Alumni and his clients include the National Trust. He lives in north Cornwall and is passionate about the natural world and conservation. He is a long term Nikon user and he relies on a Benro TMA38CL MACH 3 and Benro GD3WH head, favouring the precision of a geared head both his landscape and macro photography. Ross co-runs Dawn 2 Dusk Photography, one of the UK’s leading workshop providers.
